Stay as far away from this junk as possible.
I have it, and the sound on one of the phones is completely muffled. I can’t make out what anyone is saying.
Furthermore, the button usage on the phone is anything but user friendly. Accidentally hit the speakerphone button? Don’t press the talk button because that will disconnect you.
I’d give this garbage ZERO stars if that were possible.

i bought this phone set because it was advertised to have a backlit keypad–which it does, to a point. my other phone set had no backlighting, so, when that phone rang in the middle of the night, it was hard to see where the answer button was. guess what? although this vtech does have a backlit keypad, the answer/dial button for some reason is not lit, so i did not further my stated cause by getting this phone. also, the vtech is far less intuitive than my panasonic set. it is much harder to go through the menus and functions. i wish i could return it.

This was easy to set up and seems to work well. Read the reviews beforehand which helped with my decision to purchase. It’s a great deal for the money and I especially like having the 2 extra handsets that only require an electrical outlet and not a phone line, enabling me to have phones in rooms that do not have phone outlets. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase!

Compared to the 5.8 GHz it replaced, range is WAY longer, sound quality great and unaffected by Wi-Fi/microwave, etc. devices in the vicinity. Not a bad thing to say about it.
