Video sucked, it only talked bout jailbreaking the droid 30 minutes. And also that wasnt jailbreaking, dont even try to use that word on a Droid. Get a iPhone if you want jailbreaking.

go to the android market, download the sholesmod update app, follow a few steps. not only are you rooted but you activate the multi touch on the moto droid, overclocking capabilities, get much better themes, flash the rom, and you can go back to stock all with one app, it also may help to get a terminal emulator, I run better terminal emulator but thats for more technical stuff, most important of all is to follow directions to the T.

Hey guys i just bought a droid and i am loving it but i am not sure what rooting actually does. does it do the same thing the iphone does once its jail breaked? will it allow me to get apps that you have to pay for, for free? if you could explain it to me it would be greatly appreciated thanks
